Mrs. Sarah Cummings
Rev. William McVeigh, assistant pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, received word yesterday
of the death of his sister, Mrs; Sarah Cummings, 74, Pittsburgh, Pa. A native of Midland, she was a daughter of the late Hugh, and Catherine (Cavanaugh) McVeigh. Her husband was late John Cummings. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church before moving to Pittsburgh. Mrs. Cummings is survived by three sons, Joseph Cummings, Harry Cummings and Leon Cummings; three-daughters, Mrs. Steve Kirkis, Mrs. Frances Benzer and Mrs. Edward Howard, Pittsburgh, and two sisters, Miss Julia McVeigh, Midland, and Mrs. Margaret O'Rourke,Westernport, ,25 grandchildren and several. great-grandchildren
