George Henry Archer died Thursday of last week as the result of a heart attack he suffered while driving his car north of Cartersburg. He resided at 2928 East Stop 8 Road.
A native of Pecksburg, he had spent the greater part of his life as a resident of Coatesville before moving to Indianapolis in 1930. He retired 13 years ago as a supervisor for the Indianapolis Railways.
He was a member of the Baptist Church of Coatesville, the Coatesville Masonic Lodge and was a Spanish-American War veteran.
Services were conducted Sunsay afternoon in the Flanner & Buchanan Hall Mortuary in Plainfied. Burial was in the Coatesville Cemetery.
