Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ellen (Thompson) Chandler. Edna grew up in Winthrop and attended local schools there.
She married Nathaniel G. McIntyre and their union produced three children. Edna devoted her life to family and home and resided in Chelsea for 62 years before returning to Winthrop 10 years ago. She remained a loving mother and grandmother for her entire life.
Edna was predeceased by her husband Nathaniel in 1982, her daughter Eleanor in 1991 and she was also predeceased by her four brothers and one sister.
To cherish her memory and mourn her passing, she leaves her children Marie McIntyre and Nat McIntyre. Also two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
