Mr. Hearne, a native of Chatham, died Thursday evening at St. Francis Hospital following a brief illness. He was a retired barber and member of Stone Avenue Methodist Protestant Church in Monroe.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nell Hearne; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth H. Bramble, both of Monroe; two brothers, Dwight Hearne of Baton Rouge and Morris Hearne of Monroe; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Griffith of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Ethel Burton of Huntsville, Tex., and Mrs. Hazel Duck of Bunkie; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Allen Petty, Harry Petty, P. H. Crawford, Earl Price, Billy Morris Hearne and Cecil Stevens.
