This memorial is dedicated to the 1,700 Jews of Liozno, Vitebsk, Belarus, who were murdered between 1941-1943 at the hands of Nazis. Installed on August 18, 2016, the memorial features a white wall, with a bronze sculpture and a black and white plaque.
In English, the plaque reads:
"To the victims of Nazism. More than 1200 Jews from Liozno, Kolyshki and nearby villages were brutally murdered at Mount Adamenskaya on February 23, 1942. More than 1700 Jews were murdered in Liozno under Nazi occupation in 1941-1943.
This memorial was erected through the efforts of Belarusian Jewish Community and thanks to the Simon Mark Lazarus Foundation, UK; the Miles and Marilyn Kletter Family Foundation, USA; the Warren and Beverly Geisler Family Foundation, USA."

"On February 23, 1942, the Jews of Liozno were forced into a barn on Komsomolskaya Street and locked inside. Twenty people froze to death inside the barn. On February 24, 27 and 28, 1942, the Jews were transported by truck to the ravine near the Adamenki sovkhoz, 500 meters northwest of Liozno and 100 meters from the Mashna River, where they were brutally murdered. The murder operation was carried out by Einsatzkommando 9b and local auxiliary police. The number of victims is estimated to be between 361 (according to German sources) and 1,500 (according to Soviet sources)."
