Turn left (East) on West Weaver Road (continue for approximately 1 mile)
Turn right (south) on South El Fiesta Ave (which is also South Farm Road 131 & South Western Ave)
Where Farm Road 131 turns east into West Farm Road 190, you will turn right
Take the dirt road behind the residences to the cemetery between two driveways. While the road may look like a driveway, it turns into a dirt road that wraps around behind the houses. Follow that dirt road, and the cemetery will be on your right in a fenced-in area.
Recently a descendant of the Owen family has been working on cleaning up the cemetery and fencing the entire cemetery. A portion of the cemetery was outside of the existing fence, and that fence was in poor condition. A large metal fence now encloses all of the known grave locations.
The burial dates were listed as beginning in 1877, but there were burials when it was a homestead. The first known burial was Sarah Owen in March of 1862.
Please access the cemetery using the dirt road that goes behind the residences. Please do not cross the homeowners' properties as they prefer you to access it via the dirt road.
