The Original Boistfort Cemetery lies across Wildwood Road from the Boistfort Cemetery. The original one is up a very, very steep treacherous path to the top of a tall mound and has about 11 headstones, a white cross, and one very dead snake. That is after one wades through icy pond water in a large field to get to it. The strong pungent smell of manure being sprayed on farmland added to the experience. At one point we both burst out laughing at what we were doing on this beautiful blue sky, freezing day.

Only a few stones are visible through the grass and weeds.

Recommend sitting and sliding down the hill on the grass, to get down. The ground is uneven and footing is uncertain.
