Ruth L McCULLOUGH, 97, Center Point passed away at Cloverleaf Care 12-4-1020. She was born in Clay County 4-12-1913, the daughter of Sherman and Anna Catherine Roeschlein BERNHARDT. She attended Cory HS. Ruth married David McCullough 11-15-1930. He preceded her in death 1-31-2003.
She was a member of Mt Calvary UM Church and most recently Ashboro UM Church. Ruth was also a 50 year member of the Center Point Order of
Eastern Star. Along...............
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband David, sisters: Ethel Baysinger
and Myrtle Moore. Brothers: Charles, Everett, Herschel, Harvey and Carl Richard Bernhardt and great grandchild Jeremy Godfrey. Survivors include
daughter: Winnifred (Jack) KNUST
3 sons: Larry (Betty) McCullough of Pace, FL, Don (Isla) McCullough of CP and Jack (Nancy) McCullough of Brazil
grandchildren: listed
sister-in-law: Lolita Bernhardt of Clayton, IN
and a large extended family.
Services will be at French Funeral Home, Wednesday 12-8-2010 at 1 pm with pastor Bob Kumpf officiating. Order of the Eastern Star Services will take place at the funeral home just prior to funeral services. Burial will follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral Wednesday from 11 am until time of services.
