Lydia Cheatham, 94, or Meme as she was known, passed away October 30, 2012 in Lumberton, Texas.

She lived in the South Park area and later moved to Lumberton, where she lived most of her life. She loved the outdoors, including gardening, hunting and fishing. She was also an avid baseball fan, especially the Astros. She enjoyed her family and friends, especially when she was playing dominoes! She was active in her church, Woodcrest Methodist and loved her UMW group as well as her church family. She will be greatly missed until that day we meet again.

Lydia was predeceased by her loving husbands, Edison Carvell and Cecil Cheatham. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Johnnie, Robert and Ernest Koch.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley, and husband, Robert Green; sisters, Ruby Parrish and Pearl Boazman; four grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.

Interment: Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont, Texas.
