PFUND, Louine G. (Chaloult) Louine G. (Chaloult) Pfund, 79, of Newington and North Eastham, MA, beloved wife of the late Robert F. Pfund, passed away peacefully Friday, (June 1, 2007) at home. Born in Caribou, ME, daughter of the late Theodore and Marie (Devost) Chaloult, she had lived in Newington for over 54 years. Lou's warmth touched all who knew her. She especially loved the time she spent with her children and grandchildren at home and at the Cape. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Janet Pfund of Wethersfield, Richard and Diane Pfund of Glastonbury and Thomas and Marianne Pfund of Wethersfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Robert Couillard of Newington; two sisters, Lee Vercelli and her husband, Louis of Newington and Sandra Korzick and her husband, Theodore of Timonium, MD and eight grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Kevin, Matthew and Brittany Pfund, Spencer, Skyler and Alexis Couillard. Lou was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Chaloult and two sisters, Vivian Cusson and Patricia Zongol. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, 9 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, West Hartford. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Calling hours are Monday, 4-7 p.m. at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford.
