Leatrice “Lee” Vercelli, age 92, joined the love of her life Louis D. Vercelli on July 18, 2018.
Lee died at LiveWell in Plantsville CT where she and Louis lived since March, 2010.
Louis died in 2011.
From 1955 to 2010, they resided in Newington.
Born in Caribou Maine in 1926, Lee was 4th child to Theodore & Marie Chaloult.
The family moved to Elmwood CT in 1943.
In addition to her parents, Lee was pre-deceased by siblings Vivian (Henry) Cusson, Kenneth (Anne) Chaloult, Patricia (Joseph) Zongol, Louine (Robert) Pfund; father and mother- in-law Joseph & Angelina Vercelli.
Lee is survived by her sister Sandra Korzick of Timonium, MD.
Lee worked for 40 years in the Bond Dept of the Aetna, was a long time, active member of the Aetna 39ers and always a willing volunteer to worthwhile causes. She was totally devoted to her family and friends and greatly loved by all who knew her.
A funeral service for Lee is scheduled for Friday, July 27th at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, Newington, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church, Newington.
Interment will be in West Meadow Cemetery.
