Arthur married Edna E. Shiner on Jan 17, 1913. They had the following children:

1. Doris Lorraine DeLong b. 1915.
2. June E. DeLong b. 1917-18.
3. Basil L. DeLong b. 1924.
4. Richard Arthur DeLong b. 1936.

Arthur H. DeLong, 53-Year Veteran at Manifold, Dies

Arthur H. DeLong, 68, a 53-year veteran employe of the General Manifold and Printing Co. died at 5 a. m. todaty in his residence at 719 Liberty Street. Mr. DeLong was born in Venango County, April 29, 1893, a son of George and Sarah McDonald DeLong. He was united in marriage with the former Edna Shiner on Jan. 17, 1913.

Mr DeLong was an employe of the General Manifold and Printing Co. for 53 years, working in the carbon department. He served as foreman of the department for many years, retirng from the firm on June 9, 1961. He was a former member of the Center Methodist Church and served as Sunday School superintendent and taught a Bible class in that church. After moving to Franklin 12 years ago, Mr. DeLong attended the Seventh Street Church of God and served as an assistant teacher of the Helping Hand Class.

Surviving in addition to his wife are the following children: Mrs. Herbert (Lorraine) Warham, of Ft. Worth, Tex.: Miss June DeLong, at home: Basil ?. DeLong, of Franklin RD 1, Bully Hill: Mrs. Wayne (Pat) Eakin, of Franklin: Richard A. DeLong of Franklin, Rd 1, Bully Hill: and a nephew Thomas E. Shiner, who was reared in the family home. Also surviving are six grand children, two great - grandchildren: two brothers, Harvey, of Franklin RD2, Deep Hollow Road, and LeRoy DeLong, of Franklin: two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Lindsey, of Burleson, Tex.: and Mrs. Richard (Edith) Wilson, of Franklin RD 1. Three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death, Bert, Gilbert and Homer DeLong, Mrs. Richard Pardee, Mrs. John Brennon and Margaret DeLong.

The body was removed to the Burger Funeral Home, where friends may call anytime and where the family will receive friends from 8 to 10 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.

Services will be conducted in the funeral home Saturday at 2 p.m. The Rev. J. Arnold Bert, pastor of the Seventh Street Church of God, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Ronald ?. Sellers, of the Center Methodist Church. Interment will be made in the Graham Cemetery, Bully Hill.
