Mrs. Charlotte Henderson
Mrs. Charlotte A. Henderson, 65, of Harrisville, wife of Cecil C. Henderson, died at 3:40 a.m. today in Grove City Hospital following a short illness.
She was born in Mercer Township, Butler County, on Sept. 4, 1910, a daughter of Lawrence P. and Ethel Jane Roberts Dunlap.
She lived in the Harrisville area all her life and was a member of the Harmony United Presbyterian Church there.
She was first married to James Dunwoody, who died in 1942. On Sept. 29, 1945 she was married to Cecil C. Henderson who survives. Also surviving are one son, David Dunwoody, of Harrisville; three daughters Mrs. Clair (Norma) Redfoot, of Harrisville; Mrs. Lynn (Edna) Covert, Grove City; Mrs. Eugene (Darlene) Texter, of Eau Claire; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Rebecca Fisher, of Harrisville; four brothers, Norman Dunlap, Grove City R.D. 2; Floyd, Mercer R.D. 5; Clyde, of Garland, Tex.; Fred, Oil City, R.D. 1; four sisters, Mrs. Edith Simmons, Harrisville R.D. 1; Mrs. George (Grace) Leiby, Jackson Center R.D. 1; Mrs. Clair (Pearl) Kifer, Dallas, Tex.; Mrs. Glenn (Shirley) Maurer, Franklin R.D. 1; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A step-son, a grandchild and two brothers are deceased.
The body is at the Harold C. Jamison Funeral Home, Harrisville, where friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be conducted there at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. William D. Milligan, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.
