Mrs. Ervin Boese
Mrs. Ervin Boese, 70 years old, of 921 South Pacific, died at 11:30 Wednesday morning at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

The former Miss Floy B. Jackson was born at Lesterville Sept 19, 1909. She married Mr Boese in 1956 at Hernando, Miss. He survives.

Mrs. Boese lived most of her life in Cape Girardeau. She retired from Florsheim Shoe Co., having worked at the plant here for 35 years. For the past four years she helped at the Cape County Senior Citizens Nutrition Center. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Center and Bethany Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Orville Kerr, Granville, Ill.; step-sons, Harold Boese, Jackson, and Danny Boese, Farmington, a daughter, Mrs. Virginia West, Decatur, Ill.; brothers, Bill Jackson, Cape Girardeau, Earl Jackson, Mounds, Ill., and Lee Jackson, Millersville; sisters, Mrs. Clara Acup, Cape Girardeau, and Mrs. Neil Ackman, Jackson; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The body is at Ford and Sons Funeral Home where friends may call. Service will be at 1:30 Friday afternoon at the funeral home with the Rev. S.S. Borum, interim pastor of Bethany Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.

Pallbearers will be Franz Tiechman, Aaron Smothers, Ray Langston, Frank Keesee, Emerson Huey and Clyde Gillespie.
