Mrs. Mary E. Rhodes
Mrs. Mary Ellen Rhodes, 94 years old, 1303 Bend Road, died early this morning in a nursing home here.
She was born at Alto Pass, Ill., Oct. 22, 1877. She had resided in Cape County most of her life, and was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Lee Jackson, Millersville, W.H. Jackson, Cape Girardeau, and Earl Jackson, Mounds, Ill.; three daughters, Mrs. Ervin Boese, Jackson, Mrs. Walter Ackman, Cape Girardeau, and Mrs. Bill Acup, East. Alton, Ill.; six grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Lorberg Funeral Home here, where arrangements are incomplete.

Pallbearers for the funeral of Mrs. Mary Ellen Rhodes, 1303 Bend Road, were Allen Jackson, Donald McKinnis, George Gohn, Alvin Schenimann, Chandos McRill and Kenneth Mitchell.
Mrs. Rhodes, 94 years old, died Saturday. Funeral services were held this afternoon at Lorberg Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Mayberry officiated. Burial was in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
