Margaret Moore was the daughter of John Oakley Moore; born in 1787 in Prince George County, Maryland; died in Monroe, Michigan and Rachel Evans; born in 1786 in the District of Columbia; died in Sauk Center, Minnesota in 1869.
Margaret married John Beden on December 26, 1837 in Monroe County, Michigan. They had 6 children: Mary Melissa, John Oakley, Katherine, Esther Louisa, Frank and Emma. Between 1858-1865, it is believed that her husband, John Beden, died; since the 1865 census states she is living in Crystal Lake in Hennepin County with her children as head of household.
Margaret married John Farnsworth on May 6, 1867 in Hennepin County.

the home of her son in Park Rapids
last week and the body was brought to
Princeton Thursday and the funeral
was held on Friday at the Methodist
church at Estes Brook, Rev. W. E. J.
Gratz officiating.

Mrs. Farnsworth was one of the old
settlers of Mille Lacs county, and re-
sided in the town of Milo for twenty-
seven years For the last four years
she had lived with her son at Park
Rapids. She was born in the District
of Columbia April 11th, 1815. After
her marriage she moved to Michigan
and with her husband came to Minnesota
in 1852. She leaves two sons and four
daughters. Two of the daughters,
Mrs. Mary Bemis and Mrs. Katherine
Huggins, reside in Greenbush, while
Mrs. Emma Fullers resides at Park
Rapids and the fourth daughter, Mrs.
Esther Prince, at St. Paul. She had
twenty-eight grand children and forty-
four great grand children.

PRINCETON, MINN
The remains of Mrs. Farnsworth Beden, who died in Park Rapids this week, were brought to Princeton last night, and the funeral will be held at her son's home in Milo township, Saturday. Mrs. (Beden) Farnsworth was 92 years old. She was born in Maryland (District of Columbia) and came to Minnesota in 1852.
