Funeral for G.H. Fiedler Will Be Held Wednesday

Funeral for Gustav Herman Fiedler of Spencer, who died Sunday at the home of his son, Lester Fiedler, in Spencer will be held Wednesday at Warner Funeral Chapel.

The Rev. Charles O. Whitely of Greenville Friends church will officiate at the 2 p.m. service and burial will be at North Lawn Cemetery.

Pall bearers will be L.H. Dotson, Reed Lawson, John Petersen, Arlie Verl Daniel, Roy Struss and Charles Juza. Mrs. Glen Mason and Mrs. Adrian Coover will sing "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Beyond the Sunset." Organist will be Mrs. A.A. Adams.

GUSTAV Herman Fiedler, son of Ernestine and Edward Fiedler, was born in Peru, Ill. Aug. 27, 1879. On Jan. 6, 1903 he was married to Anna K. Baures. To this union four sons and one daughter were born.

Survivors include three sons, Lester and Floyd of Spencer; and Roy of Royal; six grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother. Anton of Spencer; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Pearl) Harbeck of Peru, Ill., Mrs. Ida Vogt of Ladd, Ill. Preceding him in death were his widow, a son and infant daughter.

Twenty-five years ago Mr. and Mrs. Fiedler moved to Langdon where they resided until Mrs. Fiedler's death Aug. 8, 1961. Since October he had made his home with his son, Lester, and Mrs. Fiedler.
