Survivors are her husband, Laney E. Huggins of Kingsland; a son, John Unger of Austin; two daughters, Berta L. Browder of Kingsland and Lynell K. Wolfe of Pflugerville; a step-daughter, Cathy Nielsen of Casa Grande, Ariz.; a brother, Wilburn E. Shuffield of Temple; a sister, Kathleen Simecek of Temple; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
