WILLIAM P. REMSBURG, a well known farmer of Sharpsburg district, died Tuesday night at his home, two miles north of Sharpsburg, of general debility, aged about 80 years. He had been bedfast for seven weeks.

Mr. Remsburg was born in Frederick County, but had resided in this county for a number of years and was engaged in farming all his life.

He was a member of the Reformed church and a highly respected man in the community.

He leaves a wife and the following sons: Lewis, Peter, John, Hicks, and Charles, near Sharpsburg; Joseph, near Chewsville; daughters, Mrs. George Eakle, near Bakersville; Mrs. R.D. Fisher, Sharpsburg; and Frances; brothers, Thomas, Frederick County; and one in the west; and two sisters in Frederick county.

Funeral Sunday morning.
