Mr. Remsburg was born in Frederick County, but had resided in this county for a number of years and was engaged in farming all his life.
He was a member of the Reformed church and a highly respected man in the community.
He leaves a wife and the following sons: Lewis, Peter, John, Hicks, and Charles, near Sharpsburg; Joseph, near Chewsville; daughters, Mrs. George Eakle, near Bakersville; Mrs. R.D. Fisher, Sharpsburg; and Frances; brothers, Thomas, Frederick County; and one in the west; and two sisters in Frederick county.
Funeral Sunday morning.
