Sharon Rose, 43, went to be with her Lord Thursday, Sept 7, 1989.
Born in Ada, July 17, 1946, she moved to Brooklyn, NY as a young child, and moved to OKC at the age of 5. A graduate of Southeast HS, she attended OU & OSU, after which she began working at Kerr McGee as a Federal Tax Consultant, from 1963-68, at CMI as a Cost Accountant, from 1968-70, and for Love & Law Food Brokers until 1971.
Sharon married Dr. Joe Bills Reynolds on June 25, 1971 in OKC, since that time, she along with her husband, had managed and directed 4 of the family businesses.
Sharon had a deep love and concern for young people, and had made it possible for Christian lecture programs to be presented on the continents of Asia, Africa, Europe, and 44 states. She also aided in a Christian radio broadcast in the Peoples Rep. of China, and USSR. She was a member of the Church of Christ, a volunteer in the Child Abuse Division of the OK County Welfare Dept. She had personally funded the education of many young people, and assisted in funding the Deaf Education Dept at Moore School.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Rose, in 1981, her mother Rosaria Sadie Kimmel, in 1984. She is survived by her husband, Joe Bills Reynolds M.D.; her children, Shelly Denise, Joe Brett, Joe Bills II, Reyna Rose, Jonathan, Branson, and Jessica Diane; her father, Enoch Roy Kimmel Sr, of Eufaula; brother, Enoch Roy Kimmel Jr, of Las Vegas, NV. Services will be 10am, Monday, in the South Colonial Chapel. Memorials may be made to the International Foundation, Inc, PO box 210493, 3305 Shady Hollow, Dallas, TX 75211.
