Obituary in the Tacoma News Tribune 17 Feb 1969 page 27:
William D. Bannan, 75, of 616 S. 40th St, died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born at South Bend and was a Tacoma resident the past 50 years.
Mr. Bannan was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and the Marine Firemans Union.
Surviving are two brothers, Thomas, of Bremerton, and Joseph, of Blaine; and several nieces and nephews.
