Born in Paulding Co, GA, she was the daughter of the late Finnatus and Pamelia Jones. She served as a nurse in the Army during WWII, was a very talented seamstress and a wonderful cook. She was a lifelong Baptist and active in the churches she attended.
Survivors are daughters Penny (Don Dean) Camp, Lexington, and Lynn Camp, Smyrna, GA; daughter-in-law Sandy M. Camp, Greer, SC; grandchildren John Philip Camp and Cresta P. Weissenburger; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Phil Major Camp.
