Reno W. Freund, 80, of Chilton, died on Tuesday, July 3, 2001 at the Calumet Medical Center in Chilton.
He was born on April 6, 1921 in Brothertown, son of the late Martin and Martha (Criter) Freund. He married Rosemary Retterath on Nov. 23, 1946 in Chilton. She preceded him in death on July 16, 1978. He married Margaret Sageser on Dec. 5, 1986 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton.
He worked for the M-B Company in Chilton for 40 years until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton and a member of the Chilton Eagles Post #1288.
He is survived by two children, Joseph A. Freund of Sagle, Idaho, and Carol A. (Charles) Morris of Layfayette, Colo.; one grandson, Nathan Freund-Dotson of Colorado; one brother, Gerald (Harrietta) Freund of Fond du Lac; two sisters, Sister Rita Freund of West Allis; Doris (Ralph) Neuber of Brothertown.
He was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie (Eugene) Roberts.
Funeral services will be at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton with the Rev. Gary New S.D.S. officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
