"SOUTH VALLEY - Orrin Adair, aged 43, died unexpectedly March 13, 1955, at his home. Death was due to a heart attack. He was born in Worcester, April 6, 1911, a son of Delbert and Adella Wayman Adair. He attended local schools. On March 25, 1935, he married Ruth Lane. He worked for the town highway department at the time of his death. He was a member of the East Worcester Fish and Game Club. He leaves, besides his wife, three daughters, Alice, Myrna and Charlene, all at home; his mother, of Schenectady; eight brothers, Eli and Harry, Cobleskill; James, of Central Bridge; Robert, Harold and Russell, of Schenectady; Raymond of Sharron Hill, and William of Troy; three sisters, Mrs. Arthur Hotaling, West Richmondville; Mrs. Arthur Burdick, Pattersonville, and Mrs. Marion Truax, Schenectady. The funeral was held at 2 p. m. Wednesday from the Ottman Funeral Home, Cherry Valley, with the Rev. Myron Tripp, pastor of Christian Church, South Valley, officiating.
