Dessie Nadine Huntley passed away at the age of 92 years, 11 months, and 9 days old. She was the beautiful daughter, and eldest child of four born to Horatio Milo Ray Huntley and Ellen Leora McDonald Huntley on December 20, 1921 at 5:00 am on her grandfather McDonalds farm Merry Maid Farm in Grant County Oklahoma with Dr. Gramaud from Renfrow, Oklahoma in attendance. Dessie weighted 7 lbs. and was 19 inches long.

Dessie Nadine had one sister and two brothers: Esther Elizabeth Huntley (Knox), John Milo Huntley, and Nolan Leroy Huntley. The kids grew up on their family farm near Medford, Oklahoma in Grant County.

Granddaughter of Horace Milo Huntley, and Mary Elizabeth McBride Huntley. John McDonald, and Anna Eliza Henry McDonald.

Dessie Nadine's beautiful mother Ellen Leora McDonald Huntley passed away when Dessie was 9 years old, sister Esther 6, brother John was 5, and baby Nolan was 2 years old.

September 22, 1940 Dessie Nadine Huntley married Robert Maxey Farnam. They had two sons Ray Max of Upper Malboro, Md, and Robert Gene Farnam from Katy, Texas.

Dessie attended Sumner County Schools, graduated from Caldwell, Kansas High School, went to Ponca City, Oklahoma to attend Business College and started going to the First Christian Church. She played the piano for her Sunday School.

The young people's class had a hayrack ride and there she met Robert Maxey Farnam, who introduced himself as Max who took her home from the hayrack ride. They dated a year and were married September 22, 1940.

Max served in the U.S. Air Force from 1944 to 1946. He was an operator at Continental Oil Co. starting in May 1947.

Dessie Nadine worked for the Continental Oil Co., also, and was a Tax Clerk in the Tax Department starting in February 1956.

Both their sons, Ray Max, and Robert Gene graduated from Oklahoma State University at Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Dessie Nadine loved to do crafts, and travel in the U.S., and abroad.

Later on after the passing of her husband Ray Maxey Farnman in 1996, Dessie married James Stuart Hobbs in 1997. James passed away September 25, 2003.
