Blair Chalmer Geissinger
Blair C. Geissinger died at his home 1007 Moore Street, Huntingdon, Monday evening, March 7, 1932, at 6:15 o'clock after an illness of one week. He was aged 35 years, 11 months and 15 days. Born in Walker township, Huntingdon county, April 23, 1896, he was a son of William and Lettie Geissinger. On March 6, 1919, he was united in marriage to Flo Roland, who survives with six children. Mr. Geissinger was an employe of the Penn Central company and has been a resident of Huntingdon for the past fifteen years. He was a quiet man but possessed a sterling character and was faithful in the performance of his duty. He was a consistent member of the United Brethren church, having been a trustee and also member of the building committee of the congregation. He was also a regular attendant at Sunday School. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Lettie Geissinger, who makes her home with her son Roy of Huntingdon, by his wife and these children: Eulala, Dorothy, Blair, Jr., William, Priscillia and Lucy Belle; also by the following brothers and sisters: Cora, wife of R. A. Lytle, Alexandria; John, New Brighton; Clarence and Roy, Huntingdon. A short service will be held Thursday afternoon, March 10 at the home in charge of Rev. A. C. Van Saun. Other service will be conducted at the United Brethren church. Interment will be made in Riverview Cemetery.
