Dorothy was a wonderful wife and mother. She loved to dance, and she and Howard taught dance lessons together. She was a good sport and enjoyed trips to Lake Powell, to the cabin at Strawberry Reservoir, water skiing, snow skiing, and tailgating at BYU football games. She never missed a sporting event where any of her children were participating; she was our greatest fan. She was always ready to play games, including, dominoes, pinochle, bridge, and all kinds of card games. She also liked to oil paint and her work decorates the homes of friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother Ida and her father Neil, and by her two brothers Kenneth and Clyde Westwood. She is survived by 5 brothers and one sister, by her husband Howard, and by her four children: Clark (Betty), Stanley (Mitzie), Machell Phibbs, and Bradley (Taunya). She has 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
The viewing and funeral will be held at Walker Mortuary at 187 South Main Street in Spanish Fork on Saturday September 8, 2012. The viewing will be held at 1:00 pm, with the funeral to follow at 2:00 pm. She will be buried in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery located at 420 South 400 East.
