Evelyn Louis Doll, 78, Wamego, died Thursday, December 7, 1995, in a Wamego nursing home.
Mrs. Doll and her husband farmed north of Wamego until 1961.
She was born March 31, 1917, daughter of Julius and Clara Weixelman Zoeller. She was graduated from Wamego High School in 1934 and was a lifelong Wamego area resident.
Mrs. Doll was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church at Wamego and the altar society at the church.
She married Anthony Doll August 25, 1936, at Flush. He died in 1988.
Survivors include four sons, Larry Doll, Wamego, Rick Doll, Westmoreland, John Doll, Shawnee, and Tony Doll, Topeka; three daughters, Clara Asbury, Topeka, Mary Jo Hoerman, Owassa, Okla., and Darlene Lashbrook, Eugene, Ore.; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Wamego. Burial was in St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery at Wamego. Contributions may be made to the Evelyn Louise Doll Memorial Fund to be designated later and sent in care of R.J. Evans Mortuary, Wamego.
