DENMARK - Graveside services for Carolyn Wise Price, 79, of 149 E. Rutledge St., will be held at 11 a. m. today, April 2, 1997, in Denmark Cemetery. Dr. John Miller Jr. will officiate. Mercer Funeral Home of Denmark is in charge. Memorials may be made to Denmark Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Price died Monday, March 31, 1997 at her residence. Born in Prosperity, she was a daughter of the late Walter Johnston and Jessie Lorick Wise. She was a Lander College graduate, retired reading consultant for Barnwell County Public Schools and former president of the Dept. of Reading for the South Carolina Dept. of Education. She was a member of Pierian Literary Society, the Denmark Garden Club and Denmark Presbyterian Church. She was wife of the late Edward B. Price of Denmark.
Surviving is a son, James W. Price of Charleston.
