Francis Kuhn Dies, Mass Tomorrow
Francis Vincent Kuhn, 75, of 2004 Terrace Place, died yesterday in a Nashville hospital after undergoing surgery two weeks ago. Kuhn was a former accountant for the state of Tennessee and served as a deputy trustee of Davidson County for about 10 years until he retired a year ago. He was a native of Nashville and was a graduate of Hume Fogg High School. He served in World War I and held the rank of lieutenant. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include two sisters, Miss Barbara Kuhn and Miss Marie Kuhn, Nashville; five brothers, Casper and Dudley, Nashville; Ferdinand, Sun City, Calif., Oliver, Tampa, Fla., and Hubert Kuhn, St. Louis.His remains are at his residence. Funeral Monday morning, July 13, 1964, leaving at 9:45 o’clock. Requiem High Mass at the Cathedral of the Incarnation, 2003 West End Ave., at 10:00 o’clock. Gil Reese, Cedric Hunt, Ernest Jones, Walter Harbison, Lucian Emerson, Edward M. McGovern, George Callison, John Carpenter, albert R. Rafferty, Thomas W. Wrenne, Fred Corkran Sr., Ernest Comotto, Joseph Mogan, Frank K. Wall of Washington, D.C., and Michael Simms of Springfield, Ky., will serve as pallbearers. Martin’s, 209 Louise Ave. 291-0610.
