Mrs. Katherine Wall Kuhn, 79, member of numerous Nashville women’s organizations, died yesterday afternoon at 3:10 o’clock at her home, 2004 Terrace Place, following a serious illness of three weeks. She has been an invalid, however, for eight years. Requiem high mass will be sung at the Cathedral of the Incarnation, of which she was communicant, tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock, and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Kuhn was a former vice president of the Americanism League, vice president of the Traveler’s Aid, and was a member of the Ladies Hermitage Association and the Ladies of Charity. Her husband, the late Ferdinand Emery Kuhn, died in 1930. A native of Wall, Pa., Mrs. Kuhn came to Nashville after her marriage in Kentucky. She was educated at St. Mary’s School at Notre Dame, Ind. She was the widow of the late Ferdinand Emery Kuhn. Survived by the following children: Miss Barbara Kuhn, Miss Marie Kuhn, Vincent, Casper, Ferdinand, Oliver, Dudley and Sergeant Hubert Kuhn. Also survived by brother, John K. Wall of Lebanon, Ky. Funeral Wednesday morning, April 7, 1943, leaving the home at 8:45 o’clock. Requiem High Mass at the Cathedral of the Incarnation at 9 o’clock. The following are the pallbearers: Walter Harbison, Lucien Emerson, Eugene Stritch, Walter Trebing, Thomas Wrenne, C. Duff Dickerson, William Scheffer, James M. Vaughn, Dan Powers, Sr., John Coode, II, William Schlattner, Forrest Graham, and Maj. Gilbert G. Winna.
