Rachel Lee Morgan, age 72, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2001, at her residence in Seymour. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2001, at the First Baptist Church in Seymour with Rev. Glenn Shock, pastor, officiating. Interment was in the Seymour Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.
She married Luke Morgan on February 17, 1945, in Seymour, Texas. He preceded her in death on December 12, 1999.
She was a lifelong resident of Baylor County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Northeast Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Danny Morgan, of Seymour, Texas; by three grandchildren, Lynn Morgan of Seymour, Texas, Cindy Shepeard of Wichita Falls and Mindy Morgan of Wichita Falls, Texas; by four brothers, J.C. King, Willie King and Robert King, all of Seymour and Harlin King, Jr., of Amarillo, Texas; and by seven great-grandchildren, Amanda and Amber Morgan, Julia and Alecia Bradley, and Quiyamah, Victoria and Elizabeth Shepeard.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, James Elvie Bradford in 1979.
