Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Riverview Cemetery with Rev. Robert King, Jr. officiating under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
Bud was born October 30, 1932 in Seymour to Harlin and Lillie Hurlston King. He attended Seymour schools and was the owner of the Maverick Café. Bud married Laqueta Joy Loffler on July 4, 1952 in Seymour. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Laqueta King; a son, Ricky King; a granddaughter, Tara Chrystelle King and a great grandson, Landry John Griffin.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Blackburn and husband, Clifton of The Colony; a son, Robert King, Jr. and wife, Sylvia of Great Falls, Montana; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
