Clara Pearl Ammons McCoy, 87, of Rt. 2 Fairview, died Saturday evening at Fairmont General Hospital. A daughter of the late Noah and Amanda Fox Ammons, she was born Feb. 4, 1898 at Daybrook. She is survived by her husband, Thomas M. McCoy; three sons, Estle McCoy of Morgantown, Fred McCoy of Blacksville and Tommy McCoy of Rt. 2 Fairview; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Maudie) Tennant and Mrs. Ted (Amanda) Wilson, both of Rt. 2 Fairview; 21 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by three brothers, Sterling, Carl and Harold Ammons, and one son, Sterling Ralph McCoy. She was a member of the Daybrook Church of Christ. Burial was at the Daybrook Cemetery
