ESTLE N. MCCOY

Estle N. McCoy, 91, of Morgantown, died Monday, May 4, 2015 in the Madison Nursing and Rehab Center in Morgantown.

He was born May 13, 1923 at Daybrook, a son of the late Thomas M. McCoy and Clara Pearl Ammons McCoy.

Mr. McCoy was a retired coal miner and a veteran of the United States Army.

Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Sharen Jean McCoy of Morgantown and Karen and her husband Blaine Chess of Morgantown; one brother, Fred McCoy of Blacksville; one sister, Amanda Wilson of Daybrook; one grandson, Nathan A. McCoy of Philadelphia, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie McCoy whom he married on April 4, 1942, and who died on July 31, 2010; one sister, Maudie Tennant; and two brothers, Ralph McCoy and Tommy Dale McCoy.

Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 5-8 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Thursday with Evangelist Ben Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Daybrook Cemetery.
