MRS. BEN HARLING TAKEN BY DEATH

Mrs. Ben Harling, age 71, 845 Stanley Street [Chippewa Falls, WI], died suddenly at her home Thursday afternoon.

Mrs. Harling was born Elfrieda Nunke [sic: Nuenke] in Chippewa Falls on July 26, 1889, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Nunke [Nuenke]. She was married to Ben Harling of Chippewa Falls on March 4, 1919 at Duluth, Minn., and they lived there for a short time before returning to Chippewa Falls.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid.

Surviving are her husband, Ben; one brother, William Nunke [Nuenke] of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Leo [Anna] Flug of this city, and Mrs. George B. Cook, Spring Valley, Wisconsin. Two brothers preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the Hogarth-Pederson Funeral Chapel from 10 a.m. Sunday until Monday noon. The remains will then be taken to the Zion Lutheran Church to lie in state until funeral time. Services will be at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ira Grimm officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery [Chippewa Falls, WI].
