Born at Chippewa Falls he lived there until 1925 when he moved to a farm in the Colfax area. In 1942, he moved here and had lived in Eau Claire since.
Mr. Nuenke is survived by his wife Clara: three sons, Louis, Eau Claire, Carl Jr., Elk Mound, Lawrence, Spokane, Washington; three daughters, Mrs. Lester Anderson, Elf Mound, Mrs. Alvin Carey, Mrs. Roger Buchholz, Eau Claire; one brother William, Chicago; three sisters Mrs. Leo Flug, Mrs. Ben Harling, Mrs. George Cook, Chippewa Falls; and 18 grandchildren.
The Rev. S. M. Moe will conduct the funeral services at 2 p.n. Tuesday at the Bremer Funeral Chapel, Colfax. Burial will be in the Colfax Cemetery.
