BEN M. HARLING

Ben M. Harling, 71, 845 Stanley Street, Chippewa Falls, passed away Saturday evening [August 11, 1962] at Saint Joseph Hospital.

He was born October 2, 1891 in the Town of Eagle Point [Chippewa County, WI], and was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Harling. He was united in marriage to Elfrieda Nunke of Chippewa Falls in March 1919. Since their marriage they have lived in Knapp, Wilson, and Chippewa Falls.

Mr. Harling had been employed by the railroad as a fireman and engineer for a number of years, retiring about four years ago.

Surviving him are one sister, Mrs. Everett Cheever of Sulpher Spring, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1961; eight brothers and two sisters.

He was a member of Chippewa Falls Masonic Lodge F. & A.M. Nop. 176, and the Scottish Rite of the Eau Claire Valley.

Friends may call at the Hogseth-Pederson Funeral Chapel from Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. until funeral time. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery [Chippewa Falls, WI].
