Arvin "Tuck" McInteer, age 69 years, of Columbia, KY died Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 2:32 a.m. at Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room.
He was a son of the late George Wesley and Ina May Bennett McInteer, was operator of McInteer's Sawmill for over 30 years and attended French Valley United Methodist Church.
Mr. McInteer is survived by his wife of 41 years, Carolyn Sue Mann McInteer of Columbia; one son and daughter-in-law, Enos and Margo McInteer of Columbia; three brothers: James and Arlon "Tick" McInteer, both of Columbia, and Marvin McInteer of Edinburgh, IN; one sister, Wilma Jean Keith of Columbia, and a step-grandson, Josh and his wife, Jennifer Furkin of Columbia. Several other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral service was held on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Hardin officiating.
Burial was in Haven Hill Cemetery.
Casketbearers were: Dale Mann, David, Jerry and Rex Campbell, Josh Furkin, and Kenneth Bennett.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
