Effie Metzger Sharp, 86, of St. Louis died Saturday at her home.
Mrs. Sharp was born Oct. 13, 1904, in Charleston. She married Herbert Allen Sharp of Gideon on Oct. 18, 1932 In Piggott, Clay, Arkansas. He died Sept. 22, 1986.
Survivors include one daughter,Grace Willadean Wright of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Judith Geraldean Wright of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Rodney Allen Wright of Los Angeles; and one sister, Mayme Gurlen of Bragg City.
Visitation will be at 6p.m. today at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Services will be at 2p.m. Monday at the funeral Home.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
The family requests donations be made to Hospice Society in St. Louis or Visiting Nursing Association.
