Norman F. Baker, 68, of Sheridan, died Sunday, May 1, 1994, at Sandwich Community Hospital.
Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ottawa Funeral Home. The Rev. Lora Going of Sheridan United Methodist Church will officiate.
Cremation rites will follow.
Visitation will be 4-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Born Dec. 8, 1925 in Otter Creek Township, he was the son of Henry Sr. and Mary (Wahl) Baker. He married Rosemary Latshaw on April 30, 1966. She survives.
Also surviving are a son, Michael Niewald, of Bettendorf, Iowa; five grandchildren; a great-grandson; sisters, Florence Baker and Marjorie (Mrs. Cecil) Robertson, both of Streator; and a brother, Floyd Baker, of Streator.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Baker, Jr.
Retired from the Sheridan Correctional Center after 22 years of employment, he was a member of Illinois Police Association, American Legion and American Association of Retired Persons.
