H. L. BAKER FUNERAL RITES HELD
Funeral rites for H. Leslie Baker, Jr., prominent Streator automobile dealer, who passed away Saturday evening at Augustana hospital, Chicago, were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the First Baptist Church.
Rev. Thomas E. Grove, pastor, officiated. Mrs. Theodore Blumenshine sang "O Come Unto Me" accompanied by Mrs. Richard Daniels.
Pallbearers were Ben Goerne, John Sankovich, Herschel Martin, James Shoger, Esthel Carby and Donald Viland. Burial was in Emery Green cemetery with special prayers by Rev. Grove.
Leslie G. Woods Post 217 American Legion held flag folding services at the grave with Joseph Neumann and William McMullen in charge.
Funeral services were in charge of the Elias funeral home.
Relatives and friends were present from Cleveland, Tenn.; Lexington, Va.; Davenport, Ia.; Chicago, Morris, Havana, Des Plaines, Valparaiso, Ind., and the surrounding area.
