Mrs. F. J. Egerer died at her home here Wednesday at 3 p.m. following a brief illness.
Mrs. Egerer was taken sick last Thursday with flu. Her condition was rendered serious by the development of pneumonia Tuesday. Two nurses were called in to care for her but despite the attention bestowed on her she sank rapidly to a peaceful death.
The funeral will be held from St. Mary’s church here Friday. Rev. H. E. Hunck will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Egerer’s girlhood name was Magdalena Boll. She was born in the town of Russell, Sheboygan County, Jan. 16, 1861, daughter r of George Joseph Boll and Genevieve Ackerman Boll. At the age of nine years she moved with her family to the town of Brothertown on the farm formerly occupied by the Joseph Winniger family, now owned by George Nissler. She received her education in the rural schools of the township.

The marriage of Magdalena Boll and Franz Joseph Egerer was solemnized by St. Mary’s church here Feb. 14, 1882. Rev. James Lorrigan pastor of St. Augustine church, officiated at the nuptial ceremony in the absence of Father Gellweiler, pastor of St. Mary’s who was ill. Mr. and Mrs. Egerer lived to observe the golden anniversary of their marriage Feb. 14, 1932.

Mr. and Mrs. Egerer were the parents of five children. An only son died in infancy. Mr. Egerer, who was president of the Commercial Bank, the Chilton Malting Co., the Calumet Golf club and the Calumet Realty Co., and had for many years been prominently identified with civic and political affairs of the city and county, died May 18, 1932.

Mrs. Egerer is survived by four daughters; Mrs. George J. Berger and Mrs. R. C. Hugo of this city; Mrs. A. C. Kingston and Mrs. A. H. Wolf, Stevens Point; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was a member of the Christian Mothers society of St. Mary’s of which church she was long a devoted member.
