Martha Freimuth, 87, formerly of Rt. 2, Cato, died Wednesday evening,
April 15, 1987, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Wesley United Methodist
Church, Manitowoc, Rev. Robert Hayes will officiate and burial will
be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Freimuth was born October 23, 1899, in the Town of Cooperstown,
Manitowoc County, daugher of the late Frank and Theresa Pepper Knuth.
She married James Freimuth on November 7, 1923, at Denmark, Wisconsin.
The couple lived all their lives in Manitowoc County and celebrated
their Golden Wedding Anniversay in 1973. He preceded her in death on
April 15, 1985.
Survivors include nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by
four brothers, Oscar, William, Ervin and Henry, one sister, Mrs.
Mathilda Lisch, an infant brother and sister.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday and at the church Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to the time of
services.
