OSCAR R. KNUTH
Oscar R. Knuth, 57, of 802 S. 26th St., Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon at
Manitowoc Equipment Works of a coronary attack.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Wesley Methodist Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Donald Stannard will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Knuth was born Feb. 16, 1908, in the Town of Cooperstown, son of the late
Frank and Theresa Peper Knuth. He married Ethel L. Miller Dec. 28, 1936, at
Lark, and the couple owned and operated a farm at Glenmore for 10 years before
moving to Manitowoc. He was a trimmer-assembler at the Equipment Works 15
years.
He is survived by his wife, a son, Donald J., a brother, Henry, of Manitowoc
and a sister, Mrs. James Freimuth of Kellnersville. Two brothers and a sister
preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m. Sunday until
noon Monday and then at the church.
