MITCHELL, Ga - Robert L. Denton, 69, Route 2, died Sunday at his residence.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Methodist Church cemetery in Glascock County, with the Rev. Ralph Bates officiating.
Mr. Denton was a native of Glascock County but had lived in Warren County for a number of years. He was a retired farmer and a member of Bethel Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sara B. Denton; one daughter, Carolyn Snider, Macon; two sons, Jerome Denton, Mitchell, and Thomas Denton, Thomson, Ga,; four sisters, Mrs. Allen Snider, Mitchell, Mrs. Odell Whitehead , Gibson, Ga., Becky Hobbs, Soperton, Ga., and Georgia Edwards, Thomson ; two brothers, Willie Denton, Mitchell, and Charlie Denton, Warthen, G a.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Denton, Gerald Burleigh, David Wiggins and Billy NeSmith.
Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
