Mrs. Eva Denton Snider 62, of Mitchell, died Wednesday in a Baldwin County Hospital.

The funeral was at Mitchell United Methodist Church with the Revs. Robert Kea and Olin Hanson officiating. Burial was in the Mitchell City Cemetery.

Eva was the daughter of Robert Denton and Louginia Shelton Denton. She was born, raised and a life long resident of Glascock County like her husband Allen and both were members of Mitchell United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband Allen; a daughter, Dorothy Usry, Mitchell; three sisters, Lauree Whitehead, Gibson, Georgia Edwards, Thomson, and Rebecca Hobbs, Warrenton; and a brother, Willie Denton, Mitchell.

Pallbearers will be Bose Johnson Jr., Billy Johnson, Brooks Todd, Olin Downs, Sterling Raley, Lewis Griswell and Lewis Pulliam.

Men of Friendship Baptist church and Mitchell United Methodist church will be honorary pallbearers.
