Charlie Denton
GIBSON, Ga - Charlie Denton, 70, Hawkins Street, died Monday in Baldwin County hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Sheppard Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Bales officiating. Burial will be in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Denton was a lifelong resident of Glasock County and a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Snider Denton, a son, Lloyd Denton, Gibson, four sisters, Lauree Whitehead, Gibson, Eva Snider, Mitchell, Georgia Edwards, Thomson and Rebecca Hobbs, Warrenton and a brother Willie Denton, Mitchell.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Chalker, Ray Usry, Danny Ray Usry, Lewis Pulliam, Frank Swain and Allen Raley.
Friends may call at the residence or the funeral home.
