Alfredo Deleon, age 87 of Grandview, WA. passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Alfredo was born to Jacinto and Martina (Ramirez) DeLeon on December 8, 1924 in Yorktown, Texas. On April 30, 1950 he married Maria Esther Santellana in Mercedes, Texas.
Alfredo loved playing his accordion and working in his yard and garden, he truly cherished the time that he spent with his family and friends. Alfredo was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, WA.
Alfredo is survived by his loving wife Maria Esther DeLeon of Grandview, his children Alfredo DeLeon Jr. (Gracie) of Rivera, Texas, Susan Rodriguez (Emilio Alonzo) of Grandview, WA., Elvira Cardenas (Joe) of Odem, Texas, Virginia Posada of Wapato, WA., Frances Saenz (Daniel Sr.) of Grandview, WA., Rose Jasso (Art) of Grandview, WA., Adel DeLeon of Prosser, WA. and Stephan DeLeon of Grandview, WA. He is also survived by one sister, Jesusa DeLeon – Olivarez of Donna, Texas and 24 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Viewing and Visitation was held at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Grandview, WA. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary held at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, WA.
